Who I Work With
Life is like a roller coaster. We’re all strapped in, not knowing exactly when the next twist or turn is coming. There are exhilarating highs, where we throw our hands up in joy, and then there are those stomach-dropping lows that catch us off guard. I have ridden my fair share of loops. I've faced
grief, danced with anxiety and stood at the edge of hopelessness. But here’s the beauty: those lows are not the end of the ride. They are part of the journey, shaping who we are and building resilience. I have learned that life takes courage and gratitude to build the resilience needed to
keep us secure when the ride gets bumpy.
About Me . . .
My Emphasis . . .
As a collaborative therapist, I work alongside my clients as a team through open communication, and trust. Together, we navigate the intricacies of thoughts, emotions and experiences. I want my clients to know they are not alone on this journey; we are partners working toward the therapy goals we select.
My Values . . .
Empathy is essential in fostering an environment where the client feels seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. My empathy extends to recognizing the diverse backgrounds, values and identities of each client. I aim to not only facilitate healing but also empower clients to navigate their challenges with a sense of connection, understanding and support.
My Treatment Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Helps clients identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) - Helps find a balance between acceptance and change.
Play Therapy - Allows children to explore their emotions, thoughts and experiences in a safe space.
Narrative Therapy - Empowers clients as they redefine their stories, challenge problematic beliefs and create positive change in their lives.
