Who I Work With
About Me . . .
Relationships are important. They can bring love and fulfillment; however, they can also come with pain and resentment. It's common to get "stuck" in behavioral patterns and have the same arguments over and over. We may feel emotionally overwhelmed and unsure how to change it. My therapeutic approach is for us to work together to uncover what it is you wish improved, what lies beneath the conflict, and to deepen emotional experience and connection to influence lasting change.
My Emphasis . . .
My passion lies in relationships. I find it highly rewarding to work with couples in therapy. I have specialized training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) where I support couples and families to deepen emotional experience, build connection, and heal from relational or attachment injuries that negatively impacted the relationship.
My Unique Qualifications . . .
Most of my therapeutic career is spent working with individuals, couples and families struggling with addiction, trauma, dual diagnosis and crisis issues. I am here to support you as you journey toward healing.
My Values . . .
Fully engaging in therapy involves vulnerability; therefore, I find it of utmost importance for our therapeutic relationship to be built on trust, safety, and dependability. It is my goal to remain curious and collaborative throughout our process together. We will explore your hopes for therapy at a pace with which you feel comfortable.
