Who I Work With
About Me . . .
In this journey of life, we may be confronted with situations that challenge our personal growth and relationships with others. However, we do not have to go through this process alone. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to assist individuals, couples, and families as they learn and grow in this ever-changing world. My hope is that together we can identify strategies that work best for your situation and build upon strengths that can support your progress.
My Emphasis . . .
My professional and clinical experience has not only encouraged me to identify multiple parts of the family system, but to also take a deeper look at how these the interacting systems affect one’s perspective and outlook of the world. I have primarily placed an emphasis on working with children, adolescents, and their families while taking into account the various factors that affect family life. I am passionate about advocating for children and adolescents and I enjoy the process of empowering them by providing a place for their voices to be heard. I am also passionate about supporting adults as they go through different phases in life, including marriage, parenthood, and changes within the family structure.
My Values . . .
Choosing to come to therapy is an important decision that is not easy for many to make. Sometimes there is stigma or shame placed on those who seek help outside of close family, friends, work, and church, to name a few. Because of this, I strive to be professional and genuine in my work as well as value the time and willingness people have to seek professional help. It is of utmost importance that you feel safe and respected in the therapeutic space as we collaborate towards your progress.
